AUDT: Bedding the pads and rotors

Hi all.

I was wondering if you guys can recommend me a few streets in Fremont where I can bed my pads and rotors. I was hoping to find somewhere that had long straight streets and generally clear areas. I was thinking maybe a street near an industrial park or something. I have to do 5 35-5 normal stops and 10 65-5 more aggressive stops.

TIA.

Go find yourself some street races. You'll find some nice long straight streets there.

j/k

I'd probably do the more aggressive stops on the freeway, so long as there is NO traffic anywhere around you (meaning NO HEADLIGHTS IN YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR)!!

35-5 slowdowns, however can probably be safely executed on most any straight surface street with little or no issue as long as there is no traffic nearby. This AGAIN means NO HEADLIGHTS IN YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR!!!!

Yeah. I don't think the 35-5 are such a big deal. It is the 65-5 which is going to be tricky. I guess I'll keep my eyes peeled.

get on 880 right now! haha

for 35-5, i'd recommend 11th st in union city right behind the bart station. you can probably get up to 65... actually, i know you can.

i live down there, no cops ever.

going towards mission on decoto, after you make a right on 11th there's a stop sign. you can pretty much gun it from there.

Go to Automall; long straights there. It's where alot of the test drives are done from the stealerships. I think the street is called Cushing Parkway.

I waited until around 1am then did the bed in down williams->lawrence->280. My car stunk for a while and there were clouds of smoke billowing from the wheel wells.

Oh how I look forward to doing that again!

Paseo Padre Pkwy going towards Coyote hills ftw!!! Hardly any vehicles there on the weekends. Also if you know where the Ross warehouse is located in Newark, I think it's on Central ave..that's a good spot also, good luck!

Storm drain.
I prefer the ones that have "Drains to Creek/River/Ocean".
