RS4......drool......
Although I'm seriously thinking about the "entry level" deal, might be a nice idea for track virgins and/or audi fanbois like me
EDIT: the $695 deal is only half-day. Meh.

I've done the 1/2 day events; drove the S5 (S4's were for the weenies who couldn't handle a stickshift), the TT, and the 09 A4. Of course I got lucky and got in on the free events, which Audi has stopped due to the tough economic times.
Beyond bragging rights of having flogged some choice euro machinery around one of the most well known tracks in North America, I felt I was a better driver at the end of the day. We also did the braking, accident avoidance, car control, & slalom courses, comparing the A4's to its competition (cept for the Legacy GT Spec.B which was suspiciously not included).
Track days really are the safest way to test your limits and learn how to control your car the right way(s).

That depends on how much $695 is to the individual.
Me personally, NO its not worth $695. For $250 I can take my own car around a track or the Sheriffs dept course. Audi is marketing the cars, and I am not going to pay for their marketing operations if I'm not buying a car outright.
GM had the Auto Show in Motion a few years back, that was free and you got to drive damn near everything, including the Vette...hell even the Saab 9-2x.
