:ATTN: STi: Borla XR1 owners

Is your Borla XR1 system on your STi too loud ? Want it to be more of a hush system ?

The reason that your exhaust isn't too hush is because Borla looking for more performance did not include a resonator in their STi design.

Well they did in the WRX Hush design. And it muffles the sound quite well.

I would like to trade because the pipes are identical

The only thing that needs to be changed is the middle section before it bolts up to the muffler ect. I would be willing to pay a few bucks to get my resonator traded.

PM me or email if interested.

I thought you were getting a pipe welded to eliminate that?

I got to the conclusion that the welds would be too rough on the inside of the pipe, also it would make it weaker. So a straight trade will be better.

Me gusta ! I have a catted helix downpipe so it wont be overly extremely loud but yes I understand it will be loud. I am diggin for torque right now and that is a +10 tuned.
