To be fair here, if they were tweakers all they knew is it was a couple of cats. The metal inside broken out can be sold on the black market for 100-200 bucks, because of the platinum in it. Its a massive problem with toyota trucks and 4runners.

While I'd be empathetic of the guy's place being robbed, I would not be very understanding of him not returning your downpipe in a timely fashion. So it's turrible that you became part of the collateral damage of his recent misfortunes cuz he didn't return it in a reasonable amount of time. His case is painted even worse when we see his purchasing habits over the past several months (as highlighted by Hide).
