Its RED STICKER season Oct 1 for most places!

Post if you ride! Hollister, Metcalf, Carnegie, MX tracks etc.

I'm doing the Metcalf Hare Scramble Oct 13/14th and am trying to do the Las Vegas Endurocross this year.

I ride singletrack mostly, flying between the trees, technical hillclimbs, and flowy trails. I do the track sometimes, little jumps nothing bigger than 50 feet, I dont want to kill myself.

Anyone else riding, i know there are a few out there.

Nice pic, is that Prairie City? you go to Club Moto at all?

yeah MotoXing is one of the most demanding sports there is...im doing a 1.5 hour Hare Scramble at Metcalf, gonna be outta breath the first 5 minutes haha.

The 300 is fast in low and mid, but doesnt have much high end. but i love it. only 220 lbs? the 2008 300 is even lighter PLUS it has E-Start which is lame for most dirtbikes, but when youre stuck on a hillclimb, it can save your ***.

im gonna take some helmet cam footage and put it on my youtube

its actually at Argyll track in Dixon. I do the 125cc beginner class because i just started a couple months ago after only riding little 4 strokes around for fun
got a 8 out of 9 that time and 3 out of 4 last time becuase the guy in 4th took me out right in the beginning, but i got him back later

cool...yeah you gotta watch out for other people, you have to assume theyre dumb and will run into you or land on you. I have a couple people go bar to bar with me in the air, like me going straight, them going crooked. almost causing a crash on the landing. There are some dumb riders out there.

i raced a bunch of two stroke 80s when i had my XR80, i got like 39th of 40 it was fun though, i actually beat 1/2 the kids on the uphill start when i took the inside, then they slowly passed me.

Do you do any trail riding? or just motoX? i love both

mainly motox but i went trail riding once, it was really hard for me. on the wider trails it was more fun, but when it got tight i had a hard time

as for tracks, argyll is really nice in dixon. Riverside track in Marysville is very smooth and well made. its really fun when you get it down. I've never tried E-street in Marysville but ive heard thats good too. Sandhill is more of a real motox track. its really rough but very fun, but don't go when its hot out because thats a killer, theres no shade out there

Carnegie is pretty cool, ive been there a few times...their track is kinda lame because theres hardly any elevfation change, but their trails are pretty fun.

I usually ride Metcalf out of San Jose and Hollister.

Ive always wanted to go to sand hill, for mtn biking or moto.

i bet there are all kinds of cool tracks up there, nothing much south, Kettlman city like 1/2 way to LA is supposed to have a pretty cool track.
