my exhaust is stock just has a resonator delete. looks completely stock. need it signed off so i can take care of my ticket and sell the car. please let me know. i will be out at the Cafe Zen meet tomorrow night(wednesday the 3rd) if you wanna meet out there, i will even buy you a drink or something at the meet!
Oh, and while you're at it, can you explain how you don't have time to go to a police station, when you obviously have time to meet up at YOUR convenience.
I know of an officer who might be able to help you - Officer Johannes Meserly - he has time to meet up with you. Better make sure your skin isn't the wrong color, though.

Maybe when he said "local police dept." he was referring to Union City PD as oppose to SFPD or OPD

Unless you got the "modified" system tested at a referee station...and it passed...then your exhaust is still "illegal".

so waitaminute, you took this part out and the rest of it is stock? how the hell did you get a ticket then? the cop saw the stock exhaust, but put it up on a lift to check it out anyway? theres no way he would have seen or heard anything different?

I was a bit puzzled about that as well. How in the world would the cop know? Even with that removed the car isn't that loud, not at all really.
