...Bill, on another note, the new WRXlink we put in my car seems to be OK. It doesn't seem to be draining my battery like the other one was (well at least I'm pretty sure). I have to run more test/s. Thanks again...

It's supposed to. But when I spoke to pj about this (he has the 1818), he said it was probably the same or at least it felt the same...but I'm sure it spools a tad quicker because that's what it's supposed to do. It's supposed to spool faster than the 1820...

Also, if I remember correctly, Dan from Godspeed posted a few dyno charts to show the difference in both the 1818 and the 1820's characteristics and it was similar but the 1818 showed a faster spool-up but not by much...
