Attention: Lurk Re: BMW Strut bar

Lurk: I bought a BMW E36 strut bar from you a few months ago. My name is Alan, my email adress is bank_man@hotmail.com.

The strut bar you sold me is NOT for a traction control model 3series, but for a non-traction model. This bar is totally useless to the friend I gave the bar to as a Christmas present.

Not only did you lie to me about the product you sold, but you made me look like a straight chump in front of my friend. Plus, he has no Christmas present. As well, I had another friend chip in to by the bar, and he's really pissed you lied about the bar being built for a traction-control model. I'm not mad, I just want my $ back.

All I want is a refund. I have the bar in the same good condition as when you sold it to me. Please contact me at the above email adress or call my cell phone at 415-216-7331. Your Private Message box is full so I can't contact you any other way. Hope to hear from you soon.

I still have yet to get a response from Lurk.

At this point, I'm not expecting to ever get a response or refund from him.
It seems he has a lot of things for sale on these forums, and I would be wary of buying anything from him based on this sale. I wish I didn't have to be such a jerk about this, but I warn people not to buy products from Lurk based on my experience.

Good to hear it worked out for you. But I'm stuck with an incorrect part.

Hey, Im sorry the strut brace didn't fit your friend's car. That's strange because it worked fine on my friend's E36 M3. Why don't you try removing the traction control box? It's useless anyways.

Depending on the price, I may have a friend that would be interested. PM me if you're interested in recouping some or all of the loss.

Lurk: Thanks for responding. He can't remove the traction control box as he needs traction control on his car, taking it off is not an option. You told me this bar fit traction control models, it straight up did not. I would like my money back in exchange for the bar. Thank you. Please call me so we can settle this matter, I would appreciate it. Alan 415-216-7331

Lurk, I'm still waiting for a response. You know my email, you know my phone number. I went into the sale in good faith, I thought you would do the same. Now I'm left hanging.
