No worries guys. Your input is greatly appreciated as well!

Driving along and all of a sudden, this huge freakin' banging noise out behind the car. Got underneath and noticed that my sway bar is lopsided. Took a look and sure enough.... freakin' sheared off at at the bolt.

A couple of questions for you guys.

1) Is the car drivable?

2) Should we replace the broken part with OEM or is there an aftermarket product that would be stronger?

3) Would stronger endlinks (versus stock) have avoided this?

4) Did my suspension setup (Eibach Springs / Stock Struts) contribute to this problem?

Whadda you guys think?

I'd be careful, but I think it's totally drivable.

Whiteline makes stronger swaybar mounts (as well as endlinks), I have them...they are pretty beefy. When I upgraded my swaybar I figured they would help as the stock mounts are pretty weak.

From the look of it, it looks like the mount broke, not the link. I'm sure the stiffer suspension put more strain on the mount and broke it.

Good luck, it's an easy fix. If you want my stock mounts you can have 'em. PM me.

No, there's nothing to worry about. The car is totally drivable as long as you're not trying to corner too fast. The only thing you'll notice is that there will be more body roll than there usually is and you can't take turns as fast as you normally can.
