I know for sprint its a app that i have to install but have been told by friends with kids it works well.

 

Just go to applications and downlaod child chaprone. and then download parent chaprone. its suppose to help you keep track of your kids but it has other uses.

My sister has it someone jacked her phone. didnt know she was looking for it with the parent chaprone, My sis did the child chaprone thing. followed it across town and found the guys house. her boyfriend found the house (yeah its that accurate) walked inside and did some bad things to the guy that had it.

You can set it up for kids and even give it a zone, if yoru phone goes out of that zone it texts you and lets you know. it uses the verizon gps and VZ navigator combined to find the exact spot within 50 feet of where your phone is. My little boy is only 1 year and a half but we keep our extra LG chocolate cell we have in his diaper bag just incase the unmentionable happens, hopefully they take his diaper bag with him and we can find him you know. Its like 10 bucks a month but i think it is worth it.
