Armrest extention + kartboy SS

Anybody have this on their car? Does the arm rest interfear with shifting with the kartboys shorter lever.

I put in an armrest extention and it doesn;t obstruct shifting too much after you get used to it a bit with the stock shifter, but it just occured to me that it might be unconfrotable after i put in the kartboys.

I had no issues with it. The kartboy SS doesn't reduce the height of the shifter by much. It reduces the throw distance for the shifts. I doubt you will even notice a difference in height in terms of the location of the arm rest extension. You will notice that your arm doesn't move as much though.

Yeah I wasn't sure exacly how shorter the height of the shifter. As far as i'm concerned the stock height is good enough.

PS Obviously I know that the short shifter doesn't mean just a shorter height of the shifter LOL

OK. I am the one negative guy here. I have the SPT (Subaru) short throw with Kartboy as well. But, it really doesn't much matter.

When I had the stock shifter, the extended box drove me crazy (I do have monkey arms 36-37"). Always hitting it 2nd and 4th. Pulled it out and got the box stock lower version and I am now in heaven with my short shift changes. I have room to 'take care of business'!

Big boys need big spaces ;-)
