I've done 147mph (speed limited at 147) in my sisters Tiburon GT on I-5 going to LA

It's possible and I know the new Sonata has more HP than the Tiburon.

HAHA, what I find hilarious about this is when I was stupid and lived in arizona for a year, we use to literally cannon ball the 101 loop(just before they started implementing speed cameras) and there has been multiple times that a helicopter woudl shine his spotlight on us at speeds well over what that guy was written up for, but they would never pull us over (yes this is incredibly stupid do to), but i'm surprised one of us didn't get a speeding ticket higher then that guy

bull crap. those cars are rated at top speed of 130mph and tested only as high as 137 from what I found. and that is the higher performance model. I doubt a rental is that model and on top of that I thought most rental companies put additional governors in.

those cameras are wrong. Personally I think that they're bull**** and should be outlawed.

I like the Konigsegg, holds the record for the biggest speeding ticket evAr, 241 if I'm not mistaken, in Texas. What I want to know is 1. what the hell they used to clock him, and 2. how the hell they pulled him over. As Top Gear proved, speed cameras don't work above ~170.

my buddy got tagged in riverside at 163 by a heli. they followed him to the gas station then the cops caught him when get got back on the freeway.

241 is faster than a cessna can fly though, let alone a helicopter.
