Argh, my garage got robbed!

Came home last night to find my garage door open and all my tools and the set of '05 stock rims which I has JUST bought gone! I think either the theives had a garage code breaker or my old garage door opened on its own at some point. The job really seemed opportunistic -- there was lots of stuff they could've taken and didn't. What they took was on (or was a set of) wheels. My neighbor's tool chest (we live in the same building) has no wheels, and they did rifle through his stuff, but left his tools.

Guess I'll be selling my car with those beautiful Volks on it... never gone to get a good value for them :-/

Anyhow... folks in the SF's Sunset, house robbery has gotten no better...

that ****in SUCKS! My garage got robbed when I first moved to San Jose, except all of our stuff was in there. computers, TV, monitors, DVDs, CDs, and a few other things all gone.

if you don't park your car in the garage get yourself a lock on the inside and outside.

That sucks to hear... I wonder if your garage door sensor picked up a cat running out when you closed it and it sent it back up.

Just out of curiosity, did you trade for those wheels with someone on the boards? Also, did you swap out the wheels at your place? I'm just asking because when you swap stuff at a house, sometimes they see stuff they like and get tempted.

did you ever leave your garage door opener in your car? make sure its not missing, they could've stolen it and used it to open your garage door.

no joke. It's way to common. You help someone out and they use it against you.

Kind of like the *** hats that pick the almonds off my tree and poisoned my ****ing dog.

I've some stuff stolen out of my garage it friggin sucks. I just discovered I'm missing a dremel and a wrench set actually. Fortunately I have another dremel set that's nicer that I keep inside.

strangely enough...I've left my garage at my cabin WIDE open ALL day a couple times and not a damn thing got stolen. Mind you there's like 8 snowboards on the wall you can see. A couple sets of skis. Tools, etc. Gotta love the small town folks...
