Bay Area Local Subaru Owners with 100,000 Miles or More & a Story (San Francisco)
Beau Bonneau Casting is assisting a high profile media company in their search for Bay Area local owners of older Subaru's with 100,000 miles or more willing to get a free vehicle customization for a web series set in San Francisco that will run on the Discovery Digital network next year. We are seeking Subaru owners who use their vehicles for social good, and/or have specific needs or just have an interesting story. Potential examples: vehicle is used to donate time to a charity; vehicle is mode of transportation for a large, single-parent family; vehicle is used for an outdoor conservation activity.

Requirements: Applicants must own a Subaru in running order, live within 50 miles of the San Francisco Bay area and agree to a preliminary background check in order to be considered. The chosen candidates will have to appear on camera over 2--3 days between 12/10/13 -- 2/1/14 in San Francisco and agree to allow them to customize your Subaru for free to aid in your daily life or charitable/good-hearted activity.

Curious what they want to do as far as modify the car and what the story is for.

I don't know if there are too many cars out there that would be better for this than mine. After I finish this round of maintenance on it, it'll probably be one of the nicer high mileage wrx's around.

232,000 miles. Bought it brand new with 10. Beat the every living hell out of it and it's taken it all and begged for more. LOL!

That's such an awesome idea! Too bad they are looking for TV material and I think that rules out most of us who use our cars for personal use + commuting and city use.

yo dawg, i heard you like to drift in your subaru, so i turned it into a RWD and threw in some TV's on the headrests, and this kicking sound system!

Hmmm, "Improve the car's condition and longevity" Sounds like mechanical and body work to me. But the car would probably have to be real beat up, I'm assuming.
