Anyone want to guess what happened here?

Hint: The tire shown belongs to the driver side front wheel.
I'm completely blown away that it happened, so I'll take some guesses and will provide the story in a bit.

LOL - man yall are impatient.
I don't know exactly what happened but - but I'm leaning towards someone was going for my cat. I've heard stories of people getting parts ripped off in the work garage I park in in South San Francisco, but since it's a really nice, clean garage with security always mobbing around, I figured it was no biggie or just a rumor.
Flash to this morning, there were security guards all around the parking garage. The guard I talked to said they had some "issues" in the garage yesterday that they couldn't talk about. Hmm...
When I got under my car yesterday afternoon, the gasket bolt was completely gone on one side, the other still there. Nothing was bent, rusted or mangled, and that gasket really does not hang down that low - so I really doubt I caught it on something...
So - I'm going with someone tried to steal my cat. I'm going to try to get into my favorite shop today to get a new bolt slapped on and semi-inspected to see what the deal was, then file a report with security.
