Be really careful putting the injectors back in. The rubber gasket on there can tear very easily. I know from experience. It's not fun to start your car and see gas shooting out onto the engine.

by rubber gasket, do you mean the oring? I have heard a few ways of lubricating it before you put it in. Is it safe to just lube it with gasoline?

I'm not sure what you do lube it with (if it even needs lube), but gasoline will evaporate before you even get the O-ring on the injector.

get a new gasket for the fuel pump. trust me on this... your old one will look fine, but after a couple days your interior will stink like gas if you re-use it.

it costs $7, and don't take it out of the package until you install it.

russ- thanks for the advice, I'll do that.

So I just finished installing all 3 gauges and I'm pretty damn tired of soldering =P.
I'm gunna resume installing everything else on friday.

All the gauges are working now except for the oil temp, i'll have to check that one out tomoroww.

Yea o-ring. I was not having a good day yesterday. I've heard of using some WD-40 on them.

Update 11/23 9:52: Just got back from st helena about 2 hours ago and I just finished installing the drivers side injectors and fixed the oil temp gauge. Tomorrow will hopefully be passenger injectors, turbo, and pump.
Also, anyone who is planning to watch/help with the install tomorrow could you please pm me so I can see when you're coming.
