just got my latest issue of an RC mag.

in it they reviewed a new tamiya rally 1/10th scale electric car.

official name is the XV-01 chassis with a subaru hatch body. comes with rally "looking" tires.

i was thinking that this could be the next "SLASH" revolution (for those in the RC world, they know what i'm talking about).

it doesnt come with a body.

only limit is to use a 17.5 motor with a NR ESC...

I would get a shaft drive for outdoors. Check out tamiya tt-01, tb-01 or tb-02

 

i have a 417 car and that uses an exposed belt drive system. granted its made for on-road only...

the VX chassis, tamiya says is its crossover chassis.

 

try looking at a df03RA chassis
