By spraying co2 into the intake track of your oponents car, you slow them down, since your removing oxygen. Makes sense, but has anyone ever used it?

I saw that ad in a magazine somewhere. I couldn't quite wrap my head around what they were talking about. Got it now. Yay, products to help you "cheat" in street races. That's really responsible.

I think the idea is for track use, but I don't think you would be in range at a real track.

My question is this:

Given a car making ~200 HP is using around 400-450 CFM of air, how much does that little dealie really displace?

My bet is "not very much"

Especially in a location where he is getting his air from.
