Anyone trade their WRX in?

has anyone here traded their WRX in for something non-subaru? Did you get butt-raped when you did?

I've been thinking about it lately to make things a little easier financially. I would probably get a Tacoma pre-runner because I've had one in the past and it was about the most fun i've ever had with a truck.

Looks like you are aiming for the rape with a reacharound?

I played with the idea of getting an econobox civic but I couldn't stomach it.

1) You will get an offer of 15k or less on your trade unless they are bending you over on the sales price of the new truck
2) Toyota dealers will give you the shaft on expensive options and they rarely move on price... good luck on getting invoice.
3) By the time you pay T&L, you'll be in deep.

Unless you are getting something around $10k, you are going to end up on the wrong end, financially.

if you really want a different car sell yours and make a purchase strait out on a new one. Trade ins are a big scam in most cases.

Only thing I'd even consider makeing a trade in on is an STI Wagon. LOL>
