Ever since my Legacy was totaled back in 12/03 I've been trying to find a 2000 or 2001 RS with 5MT. I had made some plans with this one dude to buy his '00 RS coupe but he ended up trading it in when he got himself an STI. I have searhed through many classifieds and posted WTB threads with not much luck, and yes I know that the later RS models are hard to come by. But if anyone is selling or knows someone here on the west coast trying to sell theirs please let me know, thanks.

how much were you looking to spend, i know someone who was selling about a month ago, but i don't know if he sold it or not.

 

I'm trying to keep it at 10k or under, and looking for about 100k or less on mileage as long as the car has been well maintained. And I'm trying to make sure it has the MAP based Phase II SOHC engine.

If your werent trying to keep it under 10K, I might consider selling mine. I have put a nice chunk of money into mine as well, with a bunch of new things still on the way. I was thinking about selling it a while ago, but I dont think I will unless its for a VERY right price. Its a 2000 BRP Coupe, 5sp with 56K miles, mods are an AEM intake, Borla V4 header, Stromung catback but I just bought a Greddy DD catback that is still in the mail, Exedy clutch, Exedy 12.6lb flywheel, Cusco 21mm adjustable rear sway bar, KYB shocks, Ground-Control coilovers, and also a Greddy lip is on the way, some sideskirts and rear bumper or spats also will be coming shortly when I decide on them. My plans for it are to do an EJ20 swap, but that might be a little ways off. Im just about to repaint the entire car too I believe, same stock BRP but with more clear coats since Subaru paint sucks a$$. Blue book on it is around 12K, but with everything Ive put into it and not really wanting to sell it, I would consider it for maybe $14,000 or so.

Just something to think about...Im sure you would be able to find one if you are patient enough.
