I had Bridgestone RE01r's and they were pretty noisy too.
I am starting to think that all summer tires are just noisy.

 

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I swapped them on my friend's WRX and there was no abnormal noise. Put them back on my car and it was still there, albeit much less frequent. And he actually couldn't hear it! Maybe it depends on where you sit... didn't have a chance to swap drivers. I still contend that I'm not insane.

Luckily, there's no pulling or vibration. I'll just have to enjoy them and hope there's no real problems. They have great grip and blow my 205/55/16 all seasons out of the water
