Colt has finally released their CA legal versions of the 6920 and 6940. Now you can get a complete factory Colt AR in California. Even comes with a cool "M4 Carbine" rollmark.

COLT SP6920CA 6920CA (CA LEGAL 6920)! : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com

I thought colt was banned by name. Any aw named "colt" and they had the list of each rifle after. But "colt" by name was banned.

Not that it matters to me. I have a Az address for all the cool stuff. I really wished that colt, barrett, rra, and the oghers sued the state over the aw ban and list. Calguns has done a lot. But with the factories backing or pushing. You get more done. It was amazing to see them just ro over or run away.

So is a off list lower and a bullet button all it takes to make a legal ar series rifle? Have a bushmaster up in WA that is on the banned list, would like to convert it over so I could enjoy having it down here.

You would need a new lower that is off list. Then a bullet button and a ten rounder . Then you are good to go.

Off list are the one's that were not specifically on the banned list.
