Talking Anyone paint wheels?

Looking to get my Volk CE-28s painted matte gold when I get some new tires in the next few months here.

So, does anyone offer a painting service and have some pics of their work? TIA!

If you're going to "paint" some expensive name brand wheels, don't do it yourself, and don't paint them... Pay the extra money and get them powder coated. Are these wheels forged or cast?

Volk CE-28's are forged. Although people do it, it is not recommended to powdercoat forged wheels. (Most never have a problem, but the heat required for powdercoating can alter the structure of the forged metal.)

Yeah, that's why I asked. I'd get them professionally done and not leave it to myself because not only is a ton of work to sand them, you're still only using very low quality paint by using a spray can. Go somewhere that can use good paint and do the sanding for you... Or if you want to save money, sand them yourself and have someone paint them for you with good paint, the exact shade you want and not worry about the chipping and stuff later on down the road. It might not happen at first, but it WILL happen eventually unless you never drive your car.

They are forged, and powdercoating is not recommended for forged wheels due to the heat involved in the coating process.

I would never powdercoat my forged wheels, and I asked if someone had pictures of their work. I'm not attempting to paint them myself, I am no painter

Does the artist formerly known as VF-52 have pictures of his/her work?
