anyone need an alarm?

I am selling and installing alarms for 160 each installed with keyless entry, parking lights flash, starter kill, any other options we can talk about pricing. I am a professional installer with 4 years experince trying to go solo. Email me if you would like to see pics of my work. I work near the concord and antioch area's and i will travel as well. If interested in more elaborate alarms, please notify me which alarm you are interested in or what options you are interested in and I will get you a price.

Hi, I'm undecided whether to get an alarm or not. Just curious, what shops did you work for previously? Which brands/models of alarms do you recommend for a '03 WRX?

I'm curious as well. What brands do you deal with? And do you or can you install remote start?

I've worked for Good Guys in Concord for most of my time. I have also worked for circuit city for some time and Lojack also. I work with all DEI(clifford, viper, sidewinder, rattler, etc) alarms and many other brands, I will post some prices for the remote starts alarm guys. But for now $160 for a basic generic alarm with keyless entry.

I too am trying to strike out on my own after working for someone else. I used to work for the ACME CAPSLOCK UNLOCKER, INC. But I got tired of working for the man. If you want that capslock unlocked just pm me and I'll quote you a really good price

Im also interested...

I wanted to get a remote start/alarm...i dunno if there is an remote start/alarm that has a mile radius or something like that. Plus I was wondering if it would work with a turbo timer. I heard some wierd stuff that you have to disable the cruise control n other crap to put in a remote start n stuff. I dunno if its true n all. I actually use my cruise control =p Anyhow PM me and lemme know.

I am interested too. I have been out of the loop when it comes to alarms for the past 2 years, so I am not sure what is good these days.

I am looking for higher end system.

Please give me some feedback.

Hey you dont have to do anything funny to your cruise its an easy install the "hardest parts" is removing the instrument cluster to tag the tach. And the T.T. all you need is a relay I put the relay into Zoebs car and now is remote stare and alarm work perfect.

Peace out Miguel

Thanks for the info DWNSHFT; if I had more guts or experience I'd probably give it a try, but i dunno wanna fudge up rippin apart my car. I think the farthest I went was putting a AEM CAI in (which in my opinion did nothing) and changing out light bulbs! Hehe

But anyhow, im the same boat as Imprezer, I saw some alarms that were like a mile or two mile or what ever it was radius and it had a lil LCD or some kinda display that attatched to yer key chain and if yer alarm went off, it'd send u a signal and tell u what part of yer car was bein tampered with ect...that looked like good stuff I just wanna find one that is integrated with a remote start and will work fine with a turbo timer.

tachometer wire does not have to "grabbed" at the instrument cluster, there are many wires that can be used. I installed a Avantguard 4 system into my black 03 wrx. Its features have proximity sensor, digital tilt sensor, Omni sensor (like a really really good shock sensor), window controls on all 4 windows, one touch up and down and my windows, remote start, built in turbo timer in the alarm, trunk pop, full protection on all door and hood and trunk. I charge 600 parts and labor to install this alarm.

Another option is the Clifford Matrix 2, which is very popular lately, It is the one with the 2 way paging system. It features shock sensor, remote start, flashing lights, hood pin, keyless entry and many features can be added to it. I can integrate turbo timer into any remote start alarm. I will post my price on this unit very shortly. any questions...gmannino@sbcglobal.net

Alex,

I dunno if BLUTHDR815 does this type of install, but I highly recommend a separate paging system that's not necessarily tied to the alarm system. IMO, there's no better anti-theft device than a pager.
