Anyone looking for a vintage JDM project car for cheap??
this just got posted and wont last long at this price, a (mostly) straight looking 72 240Z for only 1800, and its an automatic which is a good sign it (probably) hasnt been beaten on too much, important for a 40 year old car! Ya its def a project but I keep an eye out for 240Zs every day and they're not getting any cheaper, cars in this shape have been trading in the 4-5k range lately, and this ones a good color and thankfully hasnt been drilled for side chrome trim, kinda hard to find.
I have some spare body parts too if needed.

true but salvage titles are usually more of a concern on newer cars, on a 40 year old car its a bit more subjective. This is definitely a PROJECT CAR, and just by looking at it with or without knowing what title it has, it needs a bit of work, and people looking for a project car like this usually know what they are getting in to. If you know what your looking for its easy to tell if a car got salvaged for superficial damage, which a surprising common, or if its something more serious. either way its worth checking out

So yeah, this is NOT my car and I do NOT know the owner. Only passing this along for all the people that hit me up about my old Datsuns looking for a project. THIS CAR CAN VERY WELL BE A TOTAL LEMON!!
But if I didnt already have my own 240Z project I would DEF check this one out at this price, otherwise there are plenty of very well sorted 240Zs out there for $10K+ I can point you to.
