When you say video game tester, you mean people that run through every inch of the game and make sure that it is free of flaws right? Or do you just want people of the general public that'll give input on the games?

 

how are the hours? can this be done from home?

I e-mailed my cousin about the job. He has never done this kind of work, but he has been playing video games for like...22 years. He is always playing some damn video game. He should just go pro.

ha, i used to work for Nelson Staffing as a recruiter and those jobs are cake, you just have to sit and play games all day.

 

Then log everything on an Excel spreadsheet and take screen shots of all the issues you've got. Not every game is going to be of GT's caliber. If you can play any game for long periods of time no matter how much it sucks, it's not bad. =)

I have a handful of friends who are game testers. Haha. Not exactly a glamour job, but it helps pay the bills, I guess.
