If you're just doing bulbs and ballasts like most people do, no.

An actual conversion/retrofit... That's going to range in difficulty.

I wouldn't do it if I were you. I don't want your car to catch on fire lol.

I had HIDs in my fog lights on my EG hatch and they sucked up so much battery power and eventually the switch for them got so hot it started smoking and almost caught fire. I haven't used my fog lights since.

Of course some people don't have any problems at all. Your experiences may vary.

What kits are you guys using? I purchased a kit from HIDNATION.COM for my low beams. Basic H11 6000K kit and they recommended slim balasts, cancelors as well as a wire harness.

Well, I had them installed by a automotive technician at the dealership I work for and before he could even pull the car out of the shop there was a horrible burning odor. the resistors on the harness got so hot it melted the wires that were soldered into it.

I removed the harness and connected the bulbs thru the balast only. The lights illuminate but flicker. I am very dissapointed.

ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON A QUALITY KIT!? If you own a shop i am more then happy to purchase the kit from you and have you install it

I am in Sonoma County

DDM Tuning

DDM Tuning : HID Kits

Lots of people run them. I have two of their slim ballast kits and they've been great. super easy to install and they have a lifetime warranty. I had one ballast fail, sent them the bad ballast and received a new ballast within a week.

Have always used DDM kits. Quality stuff. I've used both 55w and 35w. No problems knock on wood.
