Well I've seen that car on E-Bay as well for quite a while. I don't know the person who owns it personally. It is very possible that this person isn't a clubber at all who still mod. There's a lot of them nonetheless who don't post on forums, but know what mods to get for their car.

just seems a bit odd that he would supposedly drop $7400 on a built motor to run the stock Turbo and no EM. And who the hell dumps that much into a motor build up to run 35+ psi and then puts it back in with the stock clutch???

yeah just mapquested it, its So Cal, I was thinking of Santa Clara, well I guess the guys not around here....
In that case lets tell the truth, this guys full of ****!!!
Well he did say it had 0 miles on the engine, so maybe everything hasn't been finished yet and he's dropping the project. There was mention of needing to change the clutch and get EM and a possible better turbo. So it soudns like he had that planned out, just not following through with it.
but ehh...ebay, who can trust anything on it these days

Maybe he plans/planned on replacing the transmission (with the 6 speed STi transmission
) He may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer. But he says the motor is being completed and shipped, so he hasn't actually been stupid yet.
I think what hes saying is hes selling a fairly stock STi and supplying a brand new, totally awesome engine for it. But you'll need to buy the clutch and stuff since he hasn't done the swap, and theres therefore little point in him buying a clutch for it now. Does that make sense?
And not much is OEM, hes upgraded/ing audio, floormats, relocated battery, new suspension, etc.
It may be a fake, but to me, (and I'm pretty stupid and trusting) it seems pretty legit. Kinda stupid, but pretty legit. He's asking a fairly fair price, kinda low, but not tooo low.
Thats just my opnion tho.

I am pretty sure that is "STFU Tuning" from the nasioc boards. He also has an EVO, and is a regular on the evolutionm.net board. He was going to keep on building it up, but as mentioned I guess he decided to quit before wasting anymore money. After all he does have an EVO
