Back in the 60's and 70's. He was tired of all GM's bull **** so he started DeLorean. The cars were manufactured in Ireland. He later ran into fanicial problems and started dealing drugs for quick money. Trying to bail his company out. He was later arrested and his wife divorced him.

 

did you watch Back to the Future on Friday? Is that why. My friend changed the channel while eating lunch and it was on > Back to the Future 2. It was funny of what they thought the future would be like with the hover skateboards and the 3D screens...:rotfl:

you dont need a DeLorean. Just get a Flux Capacitor for you Subaru

 

DeLorean was the last name of the guy who designed it as well as the name of the company. GM had very little to do with the car though John DeLorean did work for GM for quite a while (and helped design the original GTO). Regarding DeLorean selling drugs. That's a bit of an urban legend, kinda. He was arrested for TRAFFICING drugs, but was equitted. The Judge decided it was a case of entrapment on the part of the FBI. All the higher courts upheld the ruling. I have the Autobiography on DeLorean floating around my house somewhere. He is quite an amazing man.
