anyone know whats up with gruppe-s?

hey does anyone know whats going on with gruppe-s? I ordered an emblem from them with the peace of mind since everyone says they're a great vendor and they get replies within an hour etc. But i placed my order last wednesday, and i still havent received a tracking number. Also on their website, they say they dont charge the full amount to the CC until they ship, but i checked my credit card, and its been charged. And i have no emblem, and no tracking number. I sent them an email a couple days ago inquiring nicely about it, and no response. this kinda sucks for me. Anyone know whats going on? I dont mean to be a jerk about it, i guess they have a lot of stuff going on with the new dyno. But man, i might as well have just driven down there and picked up the freaking emblem.

Your having to wait a couple of days for an emblem isn't like they're leaving you stranded in the desert or anything, so it probably isn't getting as much attention as the line of cars going down the block waiting to get a run on the dyno.

I'd give them a call, and if it isn't in the hands of UPS, tell them you will drive down to pick it up.
I'm sure you'll find that their service, (like anyones) is much better in person than through e-mail.
I still don't understand why you didn't drive 30 min to pick the emblem up, probably would have cost you the same in gas as it did for shipping. All sarcasm aside, Gruppe-S is an excellent vendor and I have never had any trouble with or from them. Patience is a virtue. But if you still can't wait I'd suggest picking up the phone instead of posting to us.

Please give MAX a call on Monday morning... most of the time we'll ship out a emblem by USPS... When did you place the order ? 9/8 ? If you order it on 9/8 ... u should get it by monday or tuesday...but if u place the order on 9/1 ... then i would think somthing happened to your order/emblem... don't worry ..... if that's the case... we'll send you another one ....

well guys, frankly, gruppe-s gives free shipping, so thats why i didnt drive down there. Also i didnt know if they are a warehouse, or a full serivce store front, so i didnt want to show up at a warehouse and have some poor guy tryin to process my order when there is a specific way they do business. Also, i personally dont mind the wait, as it IS just an emblem. but no tracking number, and credit card is already charged. So am i to assume its been shipped? i know gruppe-s isnt trying to jack me. i guess i just ordered at a bad time.

WE at gruppe-s does have a FULL service store front with a show room , a warehouse, an AWD chassic dyno, and a full serivce lift...... and we do not have any "poor" guy working at the shop....i'm just here trying to help you to get your emblem... and trying to figure out wat's goin on ...... when did you place your order ????????????? 9/8 ??? or 9/1 ???? Please give MAX a call tomorrow and i'm sure he'll take care of it ASAP.

Gruppe-S has many positive reviews. I would always try to give an i-Club vendor the benefit of the doubt by contacting them directly by phone or in person. It's only been a few days. You should read of the recent horror stories about Rallispec (not an i-Club vendor).
I would really try to resolve a vendor problem or dispute on a message board as a very last resort when all else has failed.
