anyone know how to tune alpine i-personalize decks?
i have a cda 9853 and since i bought it like 2 years ago, i have not for the life of me been able to figure it out. i have the manual and have tried already, its just that it still sounds relatively crappy. if you know how to use em, and wouldnt mind helping me tune for time correction, eq, and distance equalization for my new speakers and sub, please let me know. if you make my system sound right ill throw a 6pack your way, whatever you want. cmonnnn.

Use that - lets you set all the settings and distances, etc on the computer, it calculates everything for you. It then burns a special MP3 to a CD, and you can import it that way.

Something just wigged out on it. Mids went to crap. I took it to a shop they said to change some settings...I did...it sounds a bit better but my audio settings are OFF. I can hear vocals in my sub.
I'd like to reset everything and test it all....see if my deck crapped out. If it did I can go back and have it replaced. Then pull my system and sell it. If it's something else I need to know what to replace as I plan to pull my system out and sell it anyways.
Have another car sitting in my yard with no motor in it that I need to get running again. haa.
i'm in hayward/fremont...
lemme know...
if you hear vocals in the subs, you may have the crossover point set a little high.
for me, i like them in the 80-120 mhz range.
but then again, i like big mid woofers to handle the most important range...
