There is one in Cupertino that is great, have to get the name. They used to have an outdoor track but it has since been closed. A co-worker of mine used to be crazy into RC cars and had about $5k into a Kyosho MP75 with CF this and kevlar that. CF suspension, 3 LSD diffs. Silly. Anyway, it's right on Miller (Wolfe turns to Miller) and in the same mall as a Safeway. I wil see if I can find the name.

Castle Hobbies is there off Camden. It's been a couple years since I was in the RC Car scene, but Castle Hobbies was THE place to race. Lots of great drivers.
Sheldon's is cool.
Unless D&J has really improved their RC Dept, they pretty much suck. Only carrying the newbie type stuff, not much in the way of actual race cars or parts.
There is a new place in Gilroy off of tenth st. I think. Indoor Carpet track and outdoor off road course. You can use the track all day for I think $10.

Maybe my best story is the day I showed up and some guy that had never met me started telling me how my cars were great to get started, but when I got better, I would be ready to handle a 'real' RC racecar. He had a Serpent or something.... Well.. racetime came... I smoked him... he didn't make suggestions to me after that. It was always fun to beat up on the 'race' cars with my HPI.. somehow it was more rewarding because I knew I didn't beat them with hardware.
