Anyone know anythign about Ducati's?
My mother runs a major benefit auction, and they have been donated a Ducati that they know very little about and asked me to find out about it. Anyone know which model they might be talking about about:
She says its red, 1 of 250 made, worth about 20K or so.
I'm thinking some sort of limited edition 999 or something....
Any ideas?

Sorry. Naked means that there are no fairings covering the engine. You can see the frame and engine, not like how most other sportsbikes look like.

Maybe it was the MH900e, Mike Hailwood edition. Here's a picture of one I saw up at Alices:

If its a 999, they vary from $18,000 for a standard to $30,000 for an R model. Check the Ducati website http://www.ducati.com/od/ducatinorth...tml?family=261

Its not being donated from Ducati directly, but from the private owner of the bike. When I get more info /a pic of the bike I will post back.

Ducati makes limited edition bikes every once in a while, best check the VIN on the bike and find out the exact info. This could be sought after by "collectors" and such.
They're really nice bikes, not just for power and handling but they look gorgeous with or without fairings.
