from what I've heard, EIP is better with Evos than Subies
:jumps on the Ed@EQTuning bandwagon:
Ed did a great job on my car with both of my maps (pump gas and 100 octane). He can do road tuning up in Davis or dyno tune at Gruppe-S

Well here's the deal, there are a many reputable tuners in the bay areas for subarus. A question that needs to be considered is how much time they have. Mike is one of the best Subaru tuners, but he is a busy guy since he heads R&D and service department as well.
So if the guy at EIP's a good guy and other people like him sure why not stick with him? All up to you.

Have heard of a lot of the cars from EIP needing to get retuned elsewhere.
Both Evo and Suby......
I ended up not going to EIP because of their lack of a reputation for working with Subarus. Being good on tuning Evos is different than being a good tuner with Subarus.
I'd look elsewhere, as there are plenty of other experienced subaru shops in the area.

Well,
EIP tunning does a really good job. We build cars that we tune at EIP. We have done good 15 cars with him and have not had any problems. It is understandle that the opinions vary on the tune from person to person but as far as a safe tune is concerned he does a good job. We have always had a good experience with Paul and will encourage people to try him out.
PS: Paul gets all his software from Japan and not from US distributor. Also he does a lot of Suby's as a matter of fact we met him after a major bay area tuner messed up the car and we had to find a more reliable source for our customers.
