You went out and got one, or converted your own bike into one?

I don't know why people ride fixies in the city, so crazy. Well...I'd much rather have a freewheel and brakes even if it is a single speed. I don't own a single speed, but I've been wanting to build one..

I've been "borrowing" my friends frame for about five years.
He had a track bike he bought back in '81 which he didn't ride anymore so I cleaned it up and built up some wheels for it since there was no way in hell I was going to ride on tubulars in the city. Neither of us know what kind of frame it is but it may be a De Rosa because of how the lugs are shaped.

Well, I work at a bike shop so I get hooked up but those tires normally go for about $20 a pop They are just some cheap Continental Ultra Sports that i can abuse and not care about. If you plan to start doing skid stops I would look at getting a Vitorria Randonneur for the back. They have a lot more rubber than most tires.

I have an old Corsaro conversion and a Langster (05) that I'm borrowing. Im still in the process of choosing a new frame for my build up. Either a Giant omnium or custom Spicer.

Fixies are fun to ride....especially at Hellyer.

Hey Benson, I was thinking about keeping the gears, and just touching it up, but I decided to go fixed. Come out and ride sometimes man, lol. Bring yours out on the 7th, I'll meet you at Japantown. I'm going to be at Fatlace for their grand opening. Gotta support my buddy Mark of Drift Unit

I got some friends that are into it. A lot of skaters are into it like Shiloh Greathouse and Jovante Turner. Me, I am back into BMX flatland after a 17 year layoff.
