[QUOTE=bassplayrr]My company sells the Streamlight M3 tactical light; how do you like yours? Have you seen the new M6? The thing has a built in laser pointer/aimer, it's pretty sweet.

the M6 came out a month after I got the M3 taclight. I wish I have gotten the M6. They are not cheap either. I like these taclights cause it leaves one hand free instead of holding another flashlight. Only thing I didnt like is the battery cover. Everytime I open it Im afraid I would break it. I dont want to leave those li-ion batteries in and cause a leak.
im locked and loaded for 21st

Where are you located?
Some good Gun Shops are:
Canyon Sports in Martinez
The Traders in San Leandro
Reeds Gun Shop in San Jose
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's the CA firearms rulebook:
http://caag.state.ca.us/firearms/forms/pdf/cfl.pdf
Prior to purchasing a firearm, you need a Basic Firearm Safety Certificate, which you have to take a test for, at a Gun Shop.
Here's the Handgun Safety Certificate Manual:
http://caag.state.ca.us/firearms/forms/pdf/hscman.pdf
and the study guide:
http://caag.state.ca.us/firearms/forms/pdf/hscsg.pdf
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You must purchase one of two types of gun locks at the time you purchase a gun:
One is a cable attached to a padlock, and the other is a device that mounts to your trigger guard.
The only exemption from having to buy one of these locks when you buy a gun, is if you already bought a lock at that Gun Shop within the last 30 days.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once you purchase a handgun (not sure if it applies to long guns), the dealer has to hold on to it for 10 days while the D.O.J. conducts a backround check on you.
You had better not be a convicted felon, and even certain types of misdemeanors can prohibit you being able to legally own a firearm.
Any other info you might need is right here:
http://caag.state.ca.us/firearms/
For additional info on concealed carry, go here:
If you have any other questions, reply here or PM me.
leo and I are still working on the times, but it looks like we'll start with a BBQ around 12 or 1, then shoot over at the range. The Picnic areas are walking distance from the range.
I put a post about this up in Meetings & Events.
PM me if you're going, and I will add your name to the roster in the above thread.
Can't believe I missed this thread. I'm down to go. I have a few buddies that might come and bring their guns. I've been shooting my SIG P226 in .40 alot lately. I love that pistol.
dude I got there at like 2-3PM, was late because I was trying to wake my friend (Arrkash) up, then I took the long way there (was supposed to take 92-85-9-35), the whole way on Skyline from 92 to 9, but the ride was fun!
I stayed until range closing, shot about 3 boxes of ammo, and took off.
Yeah next time I'll organize the meet better...
