Is anyone interested in a Install Meet?

Hi all.

I was wondering if anyone is interested in an install meet. Either hosting one or attending one. I would like to do a rear drum to wrx rear disc conversion for my Impreza L. I kind of want to do it myself, or at very least be hands on about it. It would probably be a good learning experience for me. There is a thread in Impreza Brakes that briefly summarizes how to do it. The thing is that I've never messed with the brakes before, and I don't really have any tools.

Anyways... If anyone else is interested in an install meet, please speak up. I figure if there is enough interest, we can do an afternoon event with food and stuff. I think it'd be a great way to learn new stuff and to meet new people.

I'd be down to help people install stuff and learn. I don't have anything to install myself though. But I might be blacking my headlights this weekend.

Cool. I'd be more than happy to plan/coordinate it.

I'm in. Me attending is dependant on location, though. I won't be driving upto Davis, if your location is correct.

Haha. Dude, I totally forgot your name. I think I met you in Fremont at Le Mans Karting at that dismal Subie meet. Not sure where to do it yet, but I want to try for somewhere in/near Fremont.

Sure. I don't have any idea how to do that either, but I figure one of these other guys can walk me through it. Hopefully we can get something going.

Cool cool. The strut tower bar shouldn't be hard to install. I hear the sway is easy to install too. I have no idea how to do it, but yeah...

I just need to find somewhere to do it. I'll see if I can ask my parents if I can do it at their place. I don't have any tools or anything, but for the things we are doing, I don't think we'll need any special tools or anything.

When we will do it... I have no idea. How is Labor Day weekend? I figure you guys want to have those things on as soon as possible right?
