It's usually pretty pricey. I don't install anymore(other than my own stuff), But it can easily be a few hours if they do it well, sometimes less depending on the car and the available hiding spots. I'm **** retentive though, so maybe someone else would do it quicker.
The nastiest I ever did was a late 80s 560sl coupe, boy was that thing a pain in the butt. Took me a full day just to get the dash far enough apart to install the brain, another day to install the alarm, then a final day to wrap everything up. I will note though, every customer I ever did that said "Do it right, no matter what it costs" has never had a vehicle stolen, the only items stolen were quick grab stuff that was left out in the open.
I hate to be scary but a good alarm install can be $800+ and should take 4-8 hours if soldering and hiding everything right. Of course I did do 30 minute installs when someone just wanted an alarm. I remember one guy that wanted an Alpine 8080 alarm with every option(components alone were over $2000), but then thought my quote was too much for install so he haggled, and I told him no problem I can install it real fast, but I won't back my work and made him sign a waiver. His car was stolen a month later and he came crying to me that we should cover his insurance because he bought the alarm through us. Too bad, signed the waiver and didn't want it installed the right way.

Is EVERYONE interested in these options for the Matrix 3.5?????.....Because if you guys are these are the options I will get the group buy going as..
Matrix 3.5
LED Screen
Auto-Start
Window Roll Up
Backup Battery
and Regular Features with the 3.5
**Note I need atleast 10 people for this Groupbuy**
I don't really think I want auto start and the window thing. I just need the engine kill, good alarm. I want the least amount of components that will break in the long term.
If something like this can be done, let me know.
