My older brother is looking for one. Unfortunately he has to trade in his 2007 si sedan, its really clean and well taken care of. Kbb is 17.5 on it. Anyways if anyone has an idea let me know. Thanks

Why on earth would he trade it in? The dealer will give you nothing for it! Sell it privately, even if it means to sell it on the low side, because even then you'll get way more then you would from the stealer, and you might make someone happy with a great deal on a 2007 SI
I know someone who will buy it RIGHT now for $13.5 if you want to sell it. He's a Croatian immigrant and has been looking for one but he can't afford really expensive ones... You can sell your car to him, have 13.5 as a downpayment which is more then you will get from the stealership.
Please think about it...

Agreed, trading it would be stupid. However, 13.5 is quite the lowball for an 07 Si sedan unless it's a salvage title. The dealer would probably pay more than that.
I'd pay at least $15k for it if it is clean with less than 30k miles. More if it's white. Less if it's Galaxy Gray.

it's white with 30k, the dealer will pay 15 I betcha but probably not more. Unfortunately theres hardly any new sti's w/o bbs. He still owes a lot on the civic si, he would have no dp from that.
I think he needs a place that is willing to pay hi for the si to get rid of the STI. They get money from subaru when they sell the sti, which is what they need in this economy. They can worry about the si later.

white is the best color for those cars. carmichael honda has been sitting on one that they want $19k for... been like 4 months, lol. so i think you are looking at $15k on the low side and $16500 or so on the high side for an 07 si with 30k if you sell it yourself. dealer=15k.

The only reason I mentioned my Croatian friend is because he loves cars, never had one because he's so poor, worked his *** off to get money to get one, and it would just be cool to see him get it. Myabe he can make payments for you since he's my friend and there's no way he'd rip you off
13.5k down,
$500 a month until 17k

I'm still looking at getting a 2008 STI soon. Just yesterday I went to the SF Auto Show and got signed up for a coupon worth $500 toward any new Subaru purchase or lease. The coupon works like this, You make your best deal first and then present the coupon for $500 off. Tomorrow is the last day for the show and you must sign up in person to save $500. Good Luck!

I traded my 04 wrx I bought new for 22.8 with 23k on it and scratched up roof for 19, owed 17.500 at the time, and got my 05 sti new for 30.8. Theres def better room, that sucks you could only negotiate 11 for the wrx.
Will see. They offered him 15 for it already so, ........

Livermore doesn't have anymore STi left and Diablo is holding out on deals on everyone (the salesperson was a jackass)... Don't bother with them... Jeff from Oakland will give you a great deal for sure, but they have to get a car from another dealership for you.
