I've done a lot of filming and editing (BA in multimedia lol) for different things but its all mostly been in regular digital video, though HD wouldn't be much of a problem anyways.

Do you have an HD camera? Cause I don't. I would be interested but I'm doing some freelance stuff right now in addition to my regular work.

When are you looking to do this?

I don't have a HD camera although I am sure I can come up with one.

Maybe check with Joe? He's always got some new or high quality camera stuff whether its A/V or photography.

This is similar but without an internal HD. You can probably do 5-6hrs on a 16GB SDHC card.

 

Hmm I will take a look at those.

I am more in need of a camera guy with experience to shoot the video than a camera to do it.

I would say PM BoostedB on the boards. He has a rather nice camera and does video production and is local to the bay area. He can set you up.

 

I've heard bad things about Canon HD camera's.

 

been working fine for folks who I personally know who use them. AVCHD is the way to, no matter the brand camera one uses.

I still say Ben is a good choice. I have seen some of his videos and he does nice work, has his own equiptment and is local and loves his subie...
