I hear the Passport 8500 X50 performs better and it's like over 100 dollars cheaper

I've used my V1 in the "real life" situations for the past 2 yrs and it's never failed me. It has probably saved me a few dozen times easily on 101 and 5 going to Socal.

The V1 tells me where the cop is AND how many there are.

v1 > all

had my v1 for a couple years now and it has never failed. i don't know how one lives without arrows. Without them you are just stuck not knowing where its coming from.

the arrrows are definately worth $100 on their own.

The V1 has failed my cousin once, but I would still choose the V1 over everything else.
(he also might have an old version, I'm not sure)

It is brand new if you keep updating it...there is no V2 and I doubt there ever will be a V2...its not Valentine V1.0, its a Valentine 1

Well, according to their site it's actually been out for 13 years, but it's been upgraded/improved many times over: http://valentine1.com/upgrades/

Anyway, just ordered one from them (like 30 minutes ago). It's about time.

ahhh....well then.

I guess as long as they are upgrading it's all good then.

I'll have to look into the new upgrades.

I do a lot of highway driving. Was blasting down 101 today at about 90 most of the time when the road was open. quarter tank of gas go bye bye.

edit...oh...and if the website is right it looks like the last major upgrade before this one was 02...so I guess I was kinda right..haa. I'm a tool.
