I'm considering picking up a 2004 Forester XT. Anybody around here have one I could check out? Any gripes about them, etc? Oh, I live in Sacramento.

Ive seen a couple of them, I would drive one. I dont think the lesbians will like the hoodscoop, it will be opressive some how.

And apparently the STI hoodscoops fit on it. So you can make it even more offensive!

My mom test drove one and I got a chance to drive it. It sure impressed me even though it was an auto.

If I was in the market right now it would be on my short list of cars to buy.

 

I went down and test drove an auto today. Car and Driver wasn't joking when they said it's only a .75 on the skid pad. Those mud and snow tires sure don't grip well, although they're not supposed to. I was pretty impressed with the acceleration (even though it was an auto). They're searching the country for a 5MT in white for me. Apparently they're hard to come by. I might end up ordering one from the factory.

Been super happy with it so far. No Lesbians though, must be the carseats in the back...
