Anyone have extra steel plates?

Looking for a solution for pulling in my driveway. Not 100% sure how to go about this lol

Very common when I lived in Japan to see this, but here junkies will steal the steel and recycle it.

What city are you in? Some places the street works people will remove them. You can always bolt them down. But make sure before hand the gutter cleaner guys do not turn you in when they street sweep.

id bolt it down, if you are in campbell depending on what are you should be ok.

Thanks guys. I live in a court so the street sweeper isnt very effective as its a tight turn. Not sure about bolting it down though, don't want to risk any fines.

I have seen people use wood to help make an extension so the driveway is not as steep.

Yeah I need em, but can't bring myself to throw away $300 for it.
I'm using wood right now but I work at a sheet metal shop. I'll see how much it would be for plate steel.
