Anyone have a broken autodimming rear view mirror they can donate?

My autodimming rearview mirror rattles when I turn up the music and I've wedged in some small drink straws in between the glass and the housing and it helped a lot but being the perfectionist that I am, I want to completely eliminate any rattles stemming from the rearview mirror. To do that, I'd need to figure out how to take it apart but I don't want to take apart a perfectly good mirror just to find out b/c I may end up damaging it. So I'd like to see if anyone around the Bay has a broken one that they can donate so I can come up with a fix for all of us. BTW, the mirror is made by Donnelly, which seems to be a supplier for many car makes.
