Question Anyone has OEM SUb on their car?

Hi!
I just need to test one of the OEM Subwoofer i just got.
Hopefully someone would have the kind heart to help me out and have my sub and harness tested to their car.

I Have an '04 wrx so i'm not sure what year and car would be the same for the sub/harness...

Thanks!

yapster

ps.
I'm in fremont

Yap, if you make it back to the city or San Mateo you can try it in my car.

problem:
got a new harness, fits perfectly, and tried an OEM sub doesn't seem to work.
i know its plug and play, and i've installed several "simple" head unit /amp wiring and all, but it just doesn't want to power up.

i just want to take off my sub, try it on ur car with harness and try ur sub on my harness, i guess that would help me eliminate which one is not working right.

Flanders:
I would let u know if i don't find anyone locally.

Thanks!

Is the rest of your stereo OK? Did you unhook the negative terminal of your battery before connecting? Did you check the inline fuse?

He just bought one cheap. He got the harness from me. The harness is brand new.

zumnwrx.,...
sent u a pm

flanders,
i shud be checking the wiring again this weekend or hopefully, if i find time this week.
Maybe i was just in a rush to install the plug and "pray" system that i forgot to check the fuse... but i did find the installation from subaruparts.com that i think was really A+ in instructions...
