Anyone got hookups on Verizon phones?
My Blackberry Curve crapped out on me after a year and a half. I went to Verizon for a replacement. These are my options.
1. buy a replacement for $50 (not in stock and they'd have to order, but i need a phone asap for work)
2. Buy a phone at FULL RETAIL price, which is awesomely ridiculous. I'd never pay $500 for a cell phone
3. open another line to get promotional price on a new phone
4. find a verizon phone on craigslist or ebay and they can activate it for me.
Does anyone have hookups for Verizon phones? I'm looking for a Blackberry of some sort. Let me know!

If you're pressed for time, Craigslist. I did a cursory search, found a handful of BB Curves for VZW under $100. You should meet em @ a Verizon store and do the activation there, so that if it don't work, you can shove the phone up their *** & not get scammed.

Get a droid mine is awesome. Are you close to being out of contract. If you are open another line and then close the other down when its time is up.

I was thinking of the droid...i have a family plan w the wifey right now. if i get a droid with another line we'll only be paying $10 more per month + initial cost of phone $199. Better than $180 straight phone swap for a BB Storm?

Anyone else? How are they.
Verizon has em for $199. $299 initial then you get a $100 back. I am not a big fan of fancy phones but it seems my options for regular phones that talk and tm are about nil' these days. Plus we can use it as GPS when we're in the wife's car. My car has GPS.

The droid is worth every penny. I'm posting from it right now
. The turn by turn gps is just as good as a dedicated unit and it even has street view! You might want to get a car charger for it though as the gps kills the battery fairly quickly.

No way would I switch to T-mobile to get a Nexus one, and no way would I pay over $500 for the unlocked version to use on another network. I'll stick with other android based phones, such as the droid, moment, or hero.
