So I have A LOT of downtime at work and need something to occupy that time. I realized my brother gave me his old psp years ago and after searching my room I finally found it with the charger.

I want to "hack" it to play old games with emulators and download themes but i remembered my retarded *** upgraded the firmware to 2.6 so i could use the internet browser. Now im trying to downgrade to 1.5 so I can use homebrew or whatever to hax0rz it.

I was wondering if anyone had experience doing this. and more importantly... does anyone have an unpatched version of gta vice cities ( i think) unpatched i can borrow so i can downgrade to 1.5?

look up pandora. every forum that mentions it gives clear directions on downgrading. Im using 5.55 m-33 right now with no issues on a PSP-2001. every new game that has been released so far i can flash onto the Memory Stick and play

 

coooooo! im pretty confused about everything still, been reading up on everything up the wazoo.

im gonna upgrade to 2.8 tomorrow and use one of the downgraders and hope it doesnt brick. i just want cool themes and old snes games.

*edit* nevermind i figured out what you were talking about. i will try the pandora battery method first.
