Yeah, my roommate got a Wii last night. Its pretty awesome.

Even the simple games like Wii Sports were fun.

my opinion.. Nintendo Wii will be the most popular console of this gen of consoles. it will beat ps3 and xbox 360 in terms of units sold and bomb AZZ software. the DS already revolutionized gaming and Nintendo is onto something by targeting casual gamers. I know MANY MANY people who bought a DS that would NEVER buy a videogame system, or even really play videogames. females particularly. They LOVE the DS!

 

I agree about the Wii, heck my inlaws are interested in getting one. I want to get one. To me, it's almost like Nintendo is apologetic for making couch potatoes when they launched the NES back in the day. I stopped playing outside and just played Super Mario Brothers all the time. Haha. Now the Wii is very interactive.

My wife plays Animal Crossing on her white DS lite all the time. I sold my GBA to get the black DS lite. I thought for sure I was going to get a PSP, but the pricepoint/games on the DS appealed to me more. Clubhouse Games pwns. Bowling or darts anyone?

I want one real bad, but am going to wait. Nintendo rocks. I have owned all of their consoles and have never been disappointed.

I picked one up on release day, but haven't played it yet. I also have a hacked DS that everyone who ever played it has gotten hooked.

 

ps3 is cool.. too much money though.. i refuse to fork out that much..
