anyone get work done at Xtreme HID in SJ?

They have a great Yelp review but if anyone has had their products and work done on their car - how is it months later? any issues with the product, install and or customer service for warranty work?

Also, what kit did you get? If you got the 6000k kit do you wish you got the 8000k or 10000k kit? And for those that got the 8 and 10 kits, do you wish you went with a lower kit?

thinking about getting an install this week so any input would help.

TIA

I would recommend Tony from bright auto lights. He just did a clean re-wiring of my prodrive HIDS on my bugeye 2 days ago. My friend who previously had them took the headlights to a shop and they did lots of unnecessary splicing. Granted moile HID also has good reviews but Tony is super knowledgeable about much more than just electrical stuff. He's completely mobile and I got better pricing

if you put 8k and 10k bulbs in your car, i'm gonna take a bat to your headlights, just saying.

Yes, I believe they do. Plus they had promos like refer a friend and get a free kit. Not sure if they still have it though. And I'm not sure about Tony's warranty policy but it may be worthwhile to ask around.

And in terms of colors, 6K is usually perfect. If you go higher and it will be less effective. However, some people like the blue color so they sacrifice that, it's up to you

Oh, I'd pay to see what you would do to 30k bulbs
I saw it on a lifted truck once, I was blinded in pink

thanks for the info all. yeah, from what I can tell the 6k will be fine but I wanted to see what others were using and why. I do want maximum visibility so this will be important for me. Right now, the car has HID's but one side is out and the other side has a bad ballast = me not being able to drive at night time.

This is why I was interested in their service and products but the drive to East SJ is a bit long for me.

no need for empty threats. I'm merely looking for suggestions and opinions

Doubt I would need a lifetime warranty but good to know it's available if I want it. Not sure how much longer I can hold onto this car but I do want to be able to drive at night again. I'll give tony a call first and see what he can do for me. Otherwise, I'll head to xtreme. Thanks again

IIRC he's Korean which means he's been an angry a-hole since birth. I would know.

And I reached out to Tony and we're talking today. If all works out, he'll come out to SF and do the install while i'm at work. we'll see - thanks a ton for the referral to Tony. He seems like a stand-up guy.
