Are you talking about the front lip splitter or the intercooler splitter?

Clean off the area that you stick the double sided tape to with alcohol before applying it. I think there's also a few clips that hold it on at the bottom.. It's really not that hard.

Screws on the backside in the fender well, major double stick tape on the inside of the splitter, and use the supplied screws from subaru (If its oem subaru) to hold it down on the bottom. Im in South City if you need help. And its up to you, i cut slits in bumper up at the top of the splitter and jammed the clips on the splitter through the bumper which holds down top of the splitter. ( hard to explain sorry)

I really recommend NOT installing it with just double sided tape. I know it works, but it's freaking ghetto. If you're going to install a body part like this, take the time to do it the right way.

Be sure you have the mounting hardware involved. You'll need to make 3 slits on each side for the clips and 3 holes for the snap in brackets. Measure twice, cut once. Put on the splitters and never fear them falling off. It takes more than double the time of double stick, but rest assured, it will never fall off. I also forgot, I think there are 2 more bolts that go on the bottom, or maybe it's 3. But once those are all in, never fear the parts flying off your car.

industrial double sided tape. So its weatherproof!

Couple zip ties wouldn't hurt either.

Onizuka is right, you HAVE to make the slits in the bumper to hold the top of the splitter to the bumper, this is how the top section of the splitter is held in place. If you don't wanna make slices in the bumper... this may not be the mod for you and you may wanna think about a aftermarket bumper
